Happy New Year 2025! 

 

We’re thrilled to share the success of the Inbound: Global Interaction (GLINT) UPMKB-UNISSA Programme 2025, which brought together 29 students from UPMKB and UNISSA. This collaborative program, organized by the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej of Kolej Sri Rajang UPMKB and UNISSA, took place on 1–4 January 2025 at UPMKB.

 

Participants engaged in benchmarking visits to UPMKB facilities, including the Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, the library, and the Putra Agriculture Centre (PPP). They also enjoyed practical sessions on compost processing, deer husbandry, and aquaculture.

 

This programme followed the Outbound Jejak Asia: Negara Brunei Darussalam held 16–25 June 2024 at UNISSA and UBD, involving 28 students. UNISSA’s accompanying officer, YM Dr. Thaqifah Salihah Binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, emphasised the importance of continuing these collaborations to explore agricultural technology and strengthen cultural ties.

 

The program concluded with a closing dinner officiated by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini. The event reinforced KUUB’s commitment to fostering strong ties between both nations and institutions of higher learning in Borneo, in line with the vision of KUUB.
